Athens Man Charged With DUI Following Wreck in Monroe
The accident happened on Snows Mill Road in Monroe on Thursday morning.
According to Georgia State Patrol, an Athens man was charged with Driving Under the Influence following an accident in Monroe on Thursday morning.
Tracey Watson, public information officer with the Department of Public Services said that Shannon Tittard, 31, from Athens was traveling east on Snows Mill Road around 11:30 a.m., when his vehicle left the roadway, hit a driveway, and overturned.
"He was injured and treated on scene," Watson said. "Tittard was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane. He was taken to the Walton County Jail."
