Tractor-Trailer Demolishes Abandoned Gas Station in Monroe
Nobody was injured in the wreck.
Just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, a tractor trailer ran across Highway 11 in Monroe at the Highway 78 exit, driving through an abandoned gas station. Officers from Monroe Police Department and city public utilities workers were on hand to clear the wreckage.
According to officers on the scene, nobody was injured in the wreck. Patch will update with details of the accident and whether any charges will be filed against the driver.
