Toys Taken From Walton County Charity
Attendees of Jingle Jog on Saturday are asked to bring toys to help replace those stolen.
Cindy Little, director of Faith in Serving Humanity, said some items were taken Monday from the FISH4Kids building in Monroe where volunteers were working. "We think it was a snatch and run while people were working in the back," Little said. "When police came to check it out, nothing had been broken into." Little said some of the items missing including toys for newborns and "red electronic radios" for older children. These toys were for the Secret Santa Program. Little said they had a break in recently and that time the alarm did go off, but the perpetrators had fled by the time police arrived.
