Division AAAA
The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (9-1, 6-1) earned themselves a home field advantage tonight against 5-AAAA's Shaw Raiders (6-4, 4-3) of Columbus.
Last week, the 'Canes perfect season came to a surprising end against the Eastside Eagles. The Eagles shut out Monroe Area, 35-0.
Division AAA
The North Oconee Titans (9-1, 7-0) have home field advantage tonight against the Ringold Tigers (6-4, 4-3). Last week, the Titans ended their season on the right note, going undefeated in their region by defeating Hart County 42-14.
Division AAAAA
The Clarke Central Gladiators (5-5, 5-3) earned themselves a playoff spot. they will travel to Dallas to meet the undefeated East Pauling Raiders (10-0, 10-0). The Gladiators ended their regular season last week by defeating the Cedar Shoals Jaguars on the road, 28-20.
Independent League
Loganville Christian Academy Lions roar into round three of their playoffs with a Saturday game tomorrow against Community Christian School of Stockbridge. Last week they bested round II Challengers Calvary Christian by a score of 35-13
Division A will begin playoff action next week, with 8-A teams earning spots. the Athens Academy Spartans, George Walton Academy Bulldogs, Athens Christian Academy Eagles and Prince Avenue Christian School Wolverines all will begin playoffs next Friday, November 23. Patch will bring you previews of those games next week.
