Captain of MAHS Color Guard Performs at UGA Football Game

Jessica Polson, captain of Monroe Area High School's Color Guard team, was one eight girls selected from across the state to perform with the University of Georgia's Marching Red Coat Band.

Jessica Polson, Captain of Monroe Area High School's Color Guard team, represented Walton County Saturday night with her performance at Sanford Stadium.

More 80,000 people were in attendance for the UGA Football Game.
With guidance and assistance of MAHS Color Guard Coach, Amanda Folley, Polson was selected as one of just eight girls from across Georgia to perform with the University of Georgia's Marching Red Coat Band during the half time show.
