Update: Monroe Teen Killed in Hit-and-Run Had Lost Control of Skateboard

Jacob Little, of Monroe, was 16 years old.

Fox5 Atlanta reports police found a silver Honda in Dacula that may be the one involved in the hit-and-run.

Update, 10:30 a.m.

One of the drivers involved in the hit-and-run incident that killed Jacob Little, told police he thought he had hit an animal.

The teenager killed in a hit-and-run in Monroe this morning (Aug. 27) was Jacob Little, according to Georgia State Patrol. 

Little was 16 years old from Monroe. GSP states that he was riding his skateboard Tuesday on North Broad Street near Double Springs Church Road and Monroe Area High School when he lost control of the skateboard. 


When he went to retrieve it, he was hit by three vehicles, one after the other. one of the vehicles, a Ford Ranger, stopped at the scene, but the two other vehicles left. The silver Honda and tan Tahoe have not been located as of 1:11 p.m. Tuesday. Police believe the Honda may have damage to the front of it since it was the first car to hit Little.
