Sheriff's Office Reports: Puppy Taken During Home Burglary

Zone 1

  • Burglary Report – The back door of a residence on Monroe Jersey Rd. was kicked in. Jewelry, weapons, and a puppy were taken from the residence.

  • Burglary Report – Walton County deputies responded to a residence on Criswell Rd. in reference to an alarm. Deputies found the back door kicked in. A box of knives and money were taken from the residence.

Zone 3

  • Extra Patrol – A white female driver with a black female passenger were driving a black Dodge Ram pickup looking into vehicles in Brentwood subdivision. The incident occurred during the afternoon hours, around 4pm.

  • Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Perry Smith Rd. in reference to thefts in the area.

  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Old Monroe Madison @ Peters Cemetery Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Ozora Church Rd. @ Richmond Place. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.
  • Area Check – Extra patrol was requested on Highlands Blvd. in the Highlands subdivision in reference to vehicles speeding in the area and rolling through the stop sign.
