Gas Removed from Vehicles, Firearm Stolen in Recent WCSO Reports

This report is compiled from the Walton County Sheriff Office alerts during the period Aug. 14-15.

Zone 3

• Suspicious Person – A suspicious male was seen walking on Windfield Drive in Windfield Place subdivision.

• Stolen Vehicle – A vehicle was taken from Windfield Way and was later recovered off Hwy 83 at Windfield Drive. The driver was charged with Possession of Alcohol by a Minor and Disorderly Conduct.

• Theft – A necklace and a walking cane was reportedly taken from a residence on Hwy 11.

• Entering Auto – Vehicles were entered in Winfield subdivision. A suspect has been named.

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm in Brush Creek subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.

• Theft – A firearm was reported stolen from a residence on Bradley Gin Rd.

• Theft – A cell phone was reportedly taken from a residence on Kings Court.

• Burglary – Several items were reportedly taken from a shed on Bay Creek Church Rd.

• Theft – Gas was taken out of vehicles at a residence on Sunny Hill Drive. A suspect has been named.

• Theft Report – A cell phone was reported stolen from a residence on Cambridge Drive.

• Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in Anslee Lakes in reference to vehicles speeding in the area.

• Suspicious Vehicle – A subject was cited for Trespassing after being found on Cedar Oaks Court and Cedar Oaks Lane, which is an undeveloped subdivision.
