Thief Enters Garage, Snatches Steaks from Refrigerator

This report is compiled from the Walton County Sheriff Office alerts during the period Aug. 16-19.

Zone 1

• Stolen Vehicle – A black Ford Ranger was taken from a residence on Walnut Avenue.

Zone 2

• Extra Patrol – A suspicious person was reportedly walking on Darel Drive. Extra patrol requested.

 
Zone 4

• Theft – A subject, driving a Ford Thunderbird, entered the garage of a residence on Broach Rd. and took boxes of steaks out of the refrigerator.

 
Zone 5

• Prowler – Two responses were made in reference to subjects ringing the doorbell at a residence on Arbor Court in Arbor Springs. Extra patrol requested.

• Extra Patrol – At a mobile home park off Etchison Rd., a white male, in his 50’s around 350lbs, was seen hiding in the bushes while juveniles are waiting for the bus. Extra patrol was requested.

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Seth’s Ridge in Zach’s Creek. The alarm was cancelled per the homeowner.

• Theft – Copper wire was taken from a residence that is under construction located on Stone Gate Way. Extra patrol requested.

 Zone 6

• Trespassing – On Stoney Creek Way in Creekwood II, a subject was arrested for Criminal Trespass after entering a residence that they were previously evicted from.

• Theft – A yellow and black bicycle was taken from the front porch of a residence on Winding Grove Lane.

• Theft – A blue mountain bike was taken from a carport on Winding Grove Lane.

• Damage to Property – A mailbox was damaged on Gum Creek Church Rd.

Zone 7

• Arrest – A subject was arrested on Wagon Trail in Wagon Trail subdivision in reference to outstanding felony warrants.

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Mill Circle in Meridian Lake Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Monroe Drive in Lake Monroe Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.

 
Monroe City Limits – Monroe Police Department requested Walton County Sheriff’s assistance with a stabbing incident at Deer Acres Inn on N. Broad St.
 
Loganville City Limits – A burglary occurred at the Citgo on Lawrenceville Hwy. The glass door was busted out and it is unknown what merchandise was taken.
