Five Men Arrested in Monroe Shooting Facing More Charges

As shooting victim Reggie Hickman remains in critical condition in an area hospital, more charges have been filed against the five men accused in the case.

Walton County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Keith Brooks said that at this time no more arrests are planned the March 5, 2013 shooting of , of Gwinnett County. in custody in connection with the incident are now facing several more charges.

The five men, four from Monroe and one from Loganville, now face the following charges:

  • Tevin Antwone Atkinson, Monroe, originally charged with party to crime and aggravated assault is now facing the additional charges of party to aggravated battery, possession with intent to distribute schedule 3 oxycodone, use of a communication device via telephone to set up a drug deal, conspiracy to distribute in Violation of Georgia Controlled Substance Act and armed robbery.
  • Ronnie Scott Culbreath, Monroe - originally charged with party to crime and party to an aggravated assault is now facing the additional charges of conspiracy to distribute in VGCSA and use of a communication device via telephone to set up a drug deal.
  • Kevin C Nuhaw, Monroe - originally charged with aggravated assault is now facing additional charges of possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession with intent to distribute Schedule 2 drugs, conspiracy in VGCSA, party to a crime of armed robbery, use of a communication device via telephone in commission of a crime, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
  • Randall Lee Cabe, Monroe – originally charged with aggravated assault is facing additional charges of three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, party to the crime of armed robbery, aggravated battery and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
  • Daniel Lee Dill, Loganville – originally charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery is now facing additional charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and party to a crime of armed robbery.

Brooks said Hickman was shot after being lured to a location on Mountain Creek Church Road in Monroe on the pretext of a drug deal. Hickman reportedly owed one of the subjects money and at some point the incident escalated and Hickman ended up being shot several times. He was able to drive away, but eventually stopped and collapsed on the roadway. A passing motorist called 911.
