Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following theft and burglary complaints in and around the Monroe area in the first week of 2013.
Zone 2
Burglary - A forced entry was made into a home on Dean Hill Road. Several electronics and firearms were taken from the residence.
Zone 3
Burglary – A subject was arrested and charged with burglary after prying open a garage door to a residence on Deer Creek Lane in an attempt to break in.
Zone 5
Stolen Vehicle – Two four-wheelers were taken from a residence on Bay Ridge Drive.
