Walton Deputies Make Arrests Connected to ATM Break-in

The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following incident reports Oct. 10, 2013.

Zone 1

  • Theft – A complaint was made on County Line Rd. in reference to the theft of a Social Security check. The check was cashed at a Wal-Mart in Apple Valley, MN.
  • Breaking & Entering – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Hwy 138 at Forrester Rd. Forced entry was made into the ATM. All subjects have been apprehended.
 
Zone 3
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Queens Lane in Queens Landing.  All windows and doors appeared secure.
  • Area Check – An unknown subject rang a door bell and left at a residence on Pleasant Valley Rd. Extra patrol was requested.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Pleasant Valley Rd. at Pannell Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
 
Zone 4
  • Theft – Jewelry was reportedly taken from a residence on Hwy 78.
 
Zone 5
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Double Springs Rd. at Bullock Bridge Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
 
Zone 6
  • Suspicious Person – A complaint was made on Oakwood Place in Oakwood subdivision in reference to subjects attempting to sell pine straw.
 
Zone 7
  • Suspicious Person – A complaint was made on Hightower Ridge Rd. in reference to a female coming to a residence attempting to sell cleaning supplies. Extra patrol was requested.
