The following theft and burglary reports were handled by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in the Monroe area between Sept. 10 to 13.
Zone 2
- Extra Patrol – Homeowners on Frost Road requested extra patrol due to recent burglaries in the area.
- Theft – A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle at TLC Transmission on Adamson Drive.
Zone 3
- Stolen Vehicle – An ATV was stolen from a residence on Chandler Road.
- Burglary – A residence was reportedly burglarized on Moina Michael Road.
- Stolen Vehicle – A black Monte Carlo was stolen from a residence on Mark Trail. The vehicle was later discovered at the intersection of Snows Mill Road and Bethel Church Road.
- Theft – A utility trailer was stolen from a residence on Old Monroe Madison Hwy.
Zone 4
- Theft – A theft was reported on Bradley Gin Rd.
Zone 5
- Theft – Fuel and a battery were stolen from heavy equipment located on Mountain Creek Church Road and Highway 11.
- Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Old Oak Drive and items were stolen.
