Authorities Interview One of the Drivers Involved in Fatal Hit-and-Run

The search continues for the other driver who fled after striking 16-year-old Jacob Little of Monroe on Aug. 27.

Update, 7:30 p.m.
Fox5 Atlanta reports police found a silver Honda in Dacula that may be the one involved in the hit-and-run.

One of two drivers who fled after striking 16-year-old Jacob Little on Monroe Tuesday as he was skateboarding to school has come forward.

Officials with Georgia State Patrol told 11 Alive News that the unidentified driver thought he'd hit an animal but reached out to authorities after learning about Little's death.

Little was struck by three vehicles -- a silver Honda, a Ford Ranger and a tan Tahoe-- when he lost control of his skateboard around 6:40 a.m. on North Broad Street near Double Springs Church Road and Monroe Area High School, according to earlier reports.

The driver of the Ranger stopped at the scene while the other two vehicles left.  The search continues for the driver of the Honda, which police believe may have damage to its front end.
