Arrest Made in Monroe Murder Case, Investigation Continues
A 25-year-old Monroe man has been charged with the murder of Ray Murphy.
A 25-year-old Monroe man has been charged with murder in the Aug. 10 shooting death of 34-year-old Ray Murphy.
According to the Walton Tribune, Kevin Boyd was arrested in Atlanta on Aug. 14 on multiple charges.
Assistant Chief RV Watts of the Monroe Police Department said the investigation is ongoing.
"We're continuing to chase down leads," he told Patch.
Funeral arrangements for Ray Murphy were still pending as of Monday afternoon, Aug. 19.
