It is almost time for Apple to release the newest version of its iPhone. The iPhone 5 is set for release in the coming weeks. According to Huffington Post sources, the phone could be in stores Sept. 21.
Apple is set to hold an unveiling today, Sept. 12, the Huffington Post reports.
Sources tell the Huffington Post that employees in local AT&T and Verizon stores are being denied vacation requests for late September in anticipation of large crowds seeking the new iPhone. Apple is reportedly expecting sales of almost $10 million, and that's just in the first week.
So will you be one of those waiting in long lines for the next generation of the iPhone? Tell us in comments.
I can understand upgrading from 3g to 4g...but upgrading every few years is a joke. (Iphone 4s was out when...last October?) Apple plans on selling 10 million? Wow..in this economy? Guess everyone is not as broke as the news tells us.
