Daylight Saving Time Ends Nov. 4. What do You Plan to Do With that Extra Hour?

At 2 a.m. tomorrow, clocks in most of the United States will be set back an hour, giving an extra hour to your day. What do you plan to do with that extra hour on Sunday?

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4.

Remember, you’ll “fall back” and set your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Savings Time begins or ends.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring because of Daylight Savings, it’s also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure device are in working order.

Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Savings Time.

However, here in this part of the country we do get an extra hour in our day Sunday. So what are you going to do with that extra hour?

Save it for a rainy day

It's not an extra hour. It is the one the government stole from me earlier in the year right? It's like a tax refund I think. ;)

Just the sort of thing those democrats would do. : )
Time is money!

Perfect explanation Kristi! :) But like a tax refund, we just so grateful for it we forget where it came from in the first place.

It's impossible to please all the people all the time, just some and some. However you feel about DST, it is observed in 70 countries worldwide, not just in the USA. "The idea of daylight saving was first conceived by Benjamin Franklin during his sojourn as an American delegate in Paris in 1784, in an essay, "An Economical Project." DST was used year-round during WWII. US laws inacting DST go back to the 1970s after the 1973 OPEC oil embargo. Why can't we keep the time change like it is now...the main reason it started was for the farmers...but now farming has so much tecnology that it seems pointless to do this twice a year. Lets just leave it alone now

I would prefer DST to be the new Standard Time. I would much rather have that extra hour of daylight in the afternoon.

Have you called the local vet clinics to see if they know her or maybe they will scan her for aRead More microchip? and, if you have not already, let animal control know you have her in case her family calls them looking for her. I posted on FB! Good Luck!
