Have the Skills To Be A Property Appraiser?

This employee performs appraisals of rural, residential or light commercial real and/or personal property, among other duties.

Employer: Oconee County Government - Property Appraisal Department

Description: Applications are currently being accepted for the full-time position of Property Appraiser I, who reports to the Chief Property Appraiser.

Minimum qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; supplemented by course work or vocational training in property appraisal; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain valid Appraiser I certification (or higher level). Must complete forty hours of prescribed continuing education in the field every two years. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
