Say Goodbye to Summer with the Sounds of the Swingin' Medallions

The final Friday Night Concert is scheduled for Friday night on the courthouse square. Say Goodbye to summer to the sounds of the Swingin' Medallions.

The last of this season's First Friday Concerts in downtown Monroe will wrap up this year's season on Friday, Sept. 7. with a concert by the Swingin' Medallions. The streets will again be closed off for an evening of fun, family and music for the last of the First Friday Summer Concert Series. The music starts at 5:30 and the Swingin' Medallions taking the stage at 7 p.m.

Downtown stores and restuarants will be open. Bring the family and enjoy the last sounds of summer in downtown Monroe.

Don't you love it when Monroe comes alive with music? I've sat in on two of the concerts here and it was refreshing, because we didn't have to drive way down to Atlanta to exp. an outdoor musical event. You save time and GAS--- and you can spend what you save here in Monroe! Hope to see you this Friday, which is my birthday. :)
