A man who was involved in an alleged domestic dispute said, "I did it, go ahead and arrest me," when police arrived at a Cartersville motel to find two people bleeding.

Daniel Todd Alexander, 27, of Cartersville, faces an aggravated battery charge under the Family Violence Act for allegedly injuring a woman's face during the 2:30 p.m. Monday incident at the Efficiency Lodge.

Police Release Video of Reynoldstown Robbery Suspects - East Atlanta Patch

Atlanta Police have released surveillance video of the four men wanted for questioning in connection with a Jan. 13 armed robbery on Seaboard Avenue.

The victim told police he was walking on Seaboard Avenue close to the Inman Park Marta station and the Reynoldstown-Inman Park border when five men approached him, one of them asking him for gum.

- Barrow Patch

A Stone Mountain man was arrested Jan. 18, 2013, and faces several charges after police say he refused to pull over for a traffic stop, took out a street sign and struck a wooden privacy fence. 

Gary Bernard Thompkins, 50, of 481 Hambrick Road, Apt. 7, in Stone Mountain, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, no insurance, no license plate or decal, damage to private property and damage to public/city property. 

According to an incident report, an officer with the Winder Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle the suspect was driving after observing it crossing the center line. When the driver refused to stop, a chase ensued, during which the suspect reportedly reached speeds up to 80 mph.

R&B Singer Carjacked Outside Midtown Recording Studio - Midtown Patch

An arrest has been made in the Tuesday night Midtown carjacking of a Bentley belonging to Robert  “Bobby” Wilson, better known as R&B singer Bobby Valentino or Bobby V.

Atlanta police say a second suspect has not been located as of early Wednesday afternoon during the crime that occurred in a parking lot adjacent to the Hot Beats Recording Studio at 1200 Spring Street just north of 14th Street.

Locks Punched in Mall of Georgia Area Car Break-ins - Buford Patch

Gwinnett County Police are investigating multiplecar break-ins in which the thief or thieves punched out the door lock to gain access to the interior of the vehicle.

On Jan. 18, a Hoschton resident discovered his 2009 Ford F150 had been entered while he was at Taco Mac on Woodward Crossing Boulevard. The man told police he arrived at Taco Mac at around 10:30 p.m. When he returned to his vehicle three hours later, he noticed the keyhole in his driver’s door had been punched out with a tool.
