Golf Cart, Auto Parts and Firearm Theft in Latest WCSO Report

The following cases were investigated by the Walton County Sheriff's Office during the period July 11 - 14, 2013. The information was compiled from the WCSO Zone Alerts. 

Zone 2

• Prowler Report – A noise was heard in the backyard at a residence on Grady Lemonds Rd. Walton County deputies checked the area with no contact.
• Theft – A forced entry was made into a vacant residence on Walnut Drive. Extra Patrol requested.

Zone 3

• Alarm – An alarm sounded on Laura Drive. The alarm was cancelled by the alarm company.
• Theft Report – Auto parts were taken from a property on Mt. Paron Church Rd. A suspect has been named in the theft.

Zone 4

• Stolen Property – A golf cart was taken from a residence on Bold Springs Rd.
• Theft – A firearm was taken from a residence on Turkey Mountain Trail. 

Zone 5

• Safety Check - Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Double Springs Rd. @ New Hope Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Two arrests were made for DUI/Alcohol and Underage Consumption.
• Alarm – An alarm sounded on Shadow Lane. The homeowner was having trouble with the alarm system. 
• Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested to the area of Etchison Rd. in reference to subjects drag racing. 

Zone 6

• Trespassing – A subject was seen on surveillance camera attempting to climb a fence located at a business on Karlee Rd.
• Safety Check - Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 138 @ Lakeside Blvd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 7

• Suspicious Person – A black male and a white female were seen in the area of Leone Avenue asking to clean carpet. The subjects were in a dark blue SUV.
