Our Family Health Center Expands Into Monroe, Ga.

Monroe, GA - Our Family Health Center recently unveiled plans to relocate their Social Circle office and add an additional office in Monroe.

The new office will be located on East Spring Street in Monroe, Ga. OFHC also announced the addition of Bryan Kirkland, MD to their practice. Dr. Bryan Kirkland specializes in Internal Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University Of South Alabama College Of Medicine. He completed an Internship/Residency in Internal Medicine at the University Of Kansas Hospital.  Dr. Kirkland provides care from teens to geriatrics.  He will be located at the Social Circle location. The Social Circle location will be relocating to 200 Brook Stone Place, Social Circle, GA 30025, and the Monroe location will be located at 1016 E Spring Street, Monroe, GA 30655.

“We are excited about this expansion because it broadens access to the quality primary and specialty care that patients have grown to trust from Our Family Health Center,” said Michelle Plaster, MD, Our Family Health Center. “Many of our patients come from Monroe and up to now, they have had to travel longer distances for routine care. Our expansion brings the care they seek closer to where they live or work, making access much more convenient. In addition, a single electronic health record will allow physicians to follow their patients from location to location seamlessly.

Our Family Health Center offers services for most of the medical problems people deal with such as hypertension (high blood pressure), heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, arthritis, emphysema, COPD, and mental health concerns. Compassion and attention to detail is why families in Walton and Newton County trust the medical care they receive at Our Family Health Center. They provide immunizations, vaccines, and flu shots and perform adult and children physicals. They also perform EKG's, pap smears, and many other services to ensure their patients stay healthy.
