Some ex-cons try to keep a low profile after getting out of prison. Others go a different route -- in this case, a route that allegedly involves driving a stolen car, ramming a police cruiser, and leading authorities on a foot chase.

Michael Brandon Hall, 27, who was released from prison earlier this year after serving nearly 10 years on a variety of charges, was arrested again Friday and charged with more than a dozen crimes, including at least five felonies, according to a Savannah Morning News report.

According to the report, Hall was driving a stolen gray Mazda when the car rammed into a police cruiser at about 3 a.m. Friday near an International House of Pancakes on Victory Drive in Savannah. Authorities were already looking for the car and its occupants, who were implicated in an earlier disturbance involving weapons.

Gwinnett County Police say a incarcerated man arrested on murder-for-hire charges is trying to make plans to kill the same Norcross man again.

In November, a plain clothes officer met with the suspect, 65-year-old Duluth resident Joseph Memar, during his visitation time, according to a news release from Gwinnett Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith.

Memar offered the undercover officer $10,000 to kill his original victim, Alireza Jebraeilli of Norcross. Jebraeilli is his former business partner whom Memar allegedly arranged a hit to kill in June.
