Powder Springs Gun Range OK'd to Serve Alcohol – West Cobb Patch

One of the two alcohol licenses approved by the Powder Springs City Council Monday came with little discussion and no debate.

It was for wine and beers sales for the recently opened Loma Pizzeria on Sailors Parkway. The license passed 4-1, with Councilwoman Nancy Hudson dissenting, as she typically does on alcohol issues.

Man Allegedly Stabbed Over Argument About Pirated DVDs – Norcross Patch

A 24-year-old man from the Norcross area told Gwinnett police he was stabbed in the back by someone selling pirated DVDs after he accused the person having "poor quality" products.

On Sept. 4, the man spotted another man who he knew sold pirated DVDs, so he walked over to buy some.

During their discussion, the two started arguing about the quality of the DVDs, mainly because the consumer accused him of selling poor-quality DVDs in the past. At the end of the conversation, the seller went back to his car for what the consumer thought was more DVDs.

When the seller returned, though, he allegedly attacked the consumer and stabbed him in the back.
