CBS Atlanta reports that Lilburn Police has arrested 43-year-old Spencer Todd Prigmore.

According to jail records, the Monroe man was admitted into the Gwinnett County jail at 12:34 a.m. Friday (July 19), just five hours after the alleged hit-and-run occurred. He has been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, reckless driving, DUI of drugs, and hit and run.

Authorities believe Prigmore was driving south on Lawrenceville Highway in a white pick-up truck. Lilburn Police spokesman Capt. Thomas Bardugon said Thursday that the driver jumped the sidewalk at the intersection of Harbins Road while trying to change lanes.
