Where in Monroe was this Picture Taken?

This photograph of train tracks in Monroe was taken by Will Chestnut. Can anyone identify where it was taken?

Will Chestnut has uploaded some great photographs to Monroe Patch's Pics and Clips, including this one of train tracks disappearing off into the distance. Can anyone identify where this picture was taken?

I believe this picture would have been taken from behind Meadows funeral home. Standing just north of Leroy Anderson road looking north. You can see where the rails turn left and would go toward the old Universal Rundle plant. The building you see in the back ground is the shop off Hwy 11 where they work on the locomotives. Just a guess though, hope I am right.

Will, is Jay right? Is this where the picture was taken? Jay, that's close to the old Angel Food offices, right? Almost across the road from the Sheriff's office? Or are you thinking it was further out of town?

i walk these tracks. the pic is between davis street and highway 11.
