Monroe-GA Calendar - December Winner and January Contest

As I said, there are just some amazing photographers - and some beautiful scene just waiting to be captured! We're looking to showcase them in a local calendar which we'll produce next year. We now have a winner for December 2014. Congratulations Ann Anderson for the beautiful photo of the Monroe town square.

Now we're looking for our lead off picture for the calendar - the best photo of the Monroe area for January. The one chosen will be the January 2014 calendar page. 

Here are the rules:

The basic ground rules? Entries to be local to the Monroe area and not to include any people or pets. To make things easier, upload the pictures to this story and mark them "January Calendar Contest Entry." If you would also like to enter it in the Picture of the Week for a North East Regional Patch prize, then also upload it to pics and clips.

This officially opens the January entries - who knows, maybe, just maybe - we will have some stunning snow photos by the time winter is over! For that matter, if you have some Monroe area photos of previous winter snow scenes, feel free to upload those too.
