It's that time again Ladies and Gents: The Friday Rant. It's time to tell us about what has irked you this week. Tell us about that coworker or that nagging boss. Tell us what you think about whatever you want to get off of your chest.
Rules: no names of companies or real names of people used here.
I was in Foxboro, Massachusetts this past week and I can honestly say that I had no complaints about the people there, but there is one thing that I HAVE to rant about: Coca-Cola Company.
Dear Coca-Cola:
You have to do a better job of marketing up in the Northeast portion of the US. I was there recently for a business trip and my poor southern soul was yearning for an ice cold Coke product and I couldn't find one. Pepsi was the choice by all, but one establishment and I literally cried when I found the lone coke establishment. I basically had with-drawls without a Sprite or a Coke. It was difficult. Even the gas stations didn't have Coke. How could you not have Coke!!! So, get your act together Coca-Cola and make it happen!

People who post over and over about their favorite candidate - and getting mad at others when they get sick of it. Just saying - enough already.

People who don't wave when I wave at them. You are from the south, you are required to wave! Yeah - I'm calling you out. I was standing in my driveway when you passed.

Wow. It takes very little effort to wave so you'd think they respond.

When I created an event on a Gwinnett County Facebook page, regarding a community memorial service, there was a jerk who accused me of promoting a birthday party. How can you compare a celebration of life and honoring the dead to a birthday party?

I am so with you on that candidate deal Concerned Citizen - I'm starting my countdown clock to Nov. 7! Although, we're then likely to begin the new cycle of the next four years on why whoever was voted in, shouldn't have been. Ugh.

Politics in general. The stupid seal on my peanut butter or coffee creamer or whatever that won't peel off when you want to open it. Ann Coulter. Rush Limbaugh. Rachel Maddow. The new 92.9 The Game (I especially hate this because they took away my favorite radio station--DaveFM--and replaced it with horrifically bad sports talk). The likely outcome of this Saturday's football game in Jacksonville. The fact that my scratch-resistant glasses have scratched. People that won't return phone calls...wait. Scratch that one. :)

My Buddy Mark that does the Braves game between innings is the producer for 92.9, so be gentle and don't get me started on the last one. :-P

Yes, the Mini Van idiots and the people who clearly do not know how to handle a SUV but insist on driving one.

When you sit in my office and I'm registering you for a procedure that YOU came for - and playing on your cellphone. When we review everything, print the paperwork, then you say "That's not my address anymore". If you would have put the phone down for 30 seconds before, we would have caught that.

- oh, and here is a question. If I move to another country and live a while, then move my parents and grandparents there, even though they don't speak the language.. is their government going to give my parents medicare and medicaid coverage - even though they never paid into the system? Just asking. And people wonder why the system is broke - other than our own gov't waste.

Chasity and CC - speaking of something similar...people who obvious can't talk on the phone and drive at the same time. On 20 yesterday, I was behind a slow car, looked around her and there wasn't another car to be seen. Passed her, and lo and behold, she's practically stopped in the road to talk on the phone. Makes me want to get one of those car megaphones that blares, "GET OFF THE PHONE!" when you pass them.
