Skateboarding Boy Hit by Car

Loganville police said the incident appears to be "a freak accident."

A 12-year-old boy riding a skateboard on his stomach was hit by a car in Loganville and flown to a hospital, police said. Loganville police did not know his condition Tuesday night.

The incident happened Monday night near Loganville's Pebble Point subdivision, witnesses told Patch. Police said the boy was with his brother and friends, lying on his stomach on the skateboard while they pushed him.

"The vehicle was passing them and somehow he was run over," Lt. John Fain said in a text message.
