Accident on Highway 78 Monday Injures 68-year-old Monroe Woman
A 2005 Thunderbird left the roadway at the intersection of Highway 78 and Cown Road between Loganville and Monroe Monday, sending a 68-year-old Monroe woman to the hospital.
Judi Bradley, 68, of Monroe, was transported to Clearview Regional Medical Center Monday after the 2005 Thunderbird she was driving left the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on Highway 78 between Loganville and Monroe at the intersection of Cown Road.
According to a spokesperson with the Georgia State Patrol, Bradley was wearing her seatbelt. He was not sure the direction of travel at the time the vehicle left the roadway. Witnesses reported it was stopped against a tree facing westbound. It was, however, off the roadway in the eastbound lane.
No details were available on the condition of the driver.
